Grand Junction, Colorado

One of Marathon's newest natural gas developments is the Piceance Basin, on Colorado's western slope.

Located in scenic Western Colorado at the confluence of the Colorado and Gunnison Rivers on the west side of the Continental Divide, Grand Junction is uniquely positioned to offer the advantages of a smaller city with access to the recreational activities of the Colorado Rockies.

Denver is an easy drive east on I-70 just a few short hours away. Nearby Grand Mesa National Forest contains 200 pristine spring-fed lakes and hiking trails leading into some of the country's most beautiful wilderness areas. Other attractions include easy access to ski resorts, a dinosaur museum and Colorado National Monument, which includes 23,000 acres of the majestic sandstone artistry of rock formations, mesas and canyons.
