Zach Dailey is Vice President, Controller and Chief Accounting Officer for Marathon Oil Corporation. He was appointed to his current role effective May 2024, after serving as Vice President of Internal Audit.

Mr. Dailey joined the Company in February 2015 and has held a variety of leadership positions including Growth Director - Business Development, Director of Operations Planning, Regional Vice President - Bakken, Advisor to the President and CEO, and Vice President, Investor Relations.

Prior to joining Marathon Oil, Mr. Dailey served in finance roles at Linn Energy, Berry Petroleum Company, and Morgan Keegan & Company. Prior to his career in finance, Mr. Dailey was a professional tennis player.

Mr. Dailey holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Vanderbilt University and an Executive MBA from the University of Denver. He serves on the Executive Leadership Team for the Bear Bryant Awards, a fundraiser for the American Heart Association.
