Marathon Oil Employees Join Together For Holiday Toy Drives

This holiday season, the employees of Marathon Oil put a strong emphasis on giving back to their communities and making a difference in the lives of community members. And most of the time, we have a lot of fun doing it!

Bakken

Last week, our Bakken HES team organized a toy drive across the drilling and completions operations benefitting the children of the Fort Berthold Reservation. Hundreds of toys were donated by MRO employees, contractors, partners, and vendors.

A big thank you to all who contributed, including contractors with Stim-Tech Inc, TechnipFMC, Rev Energy Services, Ranger Energy Services, Beaver Creek, LLC, ND Energy Services, CIG Logistics, Creek Oilfield Services, Purity Oilfield Services, Colter Energy LP, Copper Tip Energy, Nabors Industries, H&P Drilling, Stage 3 Separation, and Halliburton Sperry Directional Drilling, as well as employees from TechnipFMC and Rev Energy Services.

Oklahoma

Additionally, the employees of our Oklahoma operations area held a Drilling Rig Toy Drive. This effort included drilling supervisors, rig crews, 3rd party contractors and service providers come together to demonstrate how our industry can help the local communities where we live and work with an abundance of toy donations. We counted over 30 bicycles this year!

This year’s successful toy drive gave us the ability to deliver hundreds of toys and other items to both the Alex and Lindsay, OK communities.

We hope these toys will put smiles on a lot of kid’s faces this holiday season!
