On Thursday, Nov. 10, Marathon Oil proudly paid tribute to the brave men and women of the military with heartfelt Veterans Day celebrations at our corporate headquarters and across variousasset locations.

In Houston, thanks to the help of several MRO veterans representing all branches of the military, we held our second annual Veteran's Day celebration, where veterans received messages of gratitude while sharing their stories of service, valor and sacrifice. In addition to the flag-raising ceremony, music and refreshments, this year, the celebration incorporated the unveiling of a digital Wall of Honor showcasing MRO and MRO employees' immediate family veterans and a commemorative coin recognition.

Observing Veterans Day in a way that allows us to recognize and honor our veterans' service has become a tradition for MRO. In addition to their invaluable service for our country, veterans are a vital part of the oil and gas industry, and we are fortunate to have many veterans as employees. Their extensive skills benefit our business, and their work ethic, drive, initiative and exceptional teamwork distinguish them each and every day,

Veteran and Portfolio Manager, Ryan Hannemann, helped gather Houston-based veterans for the ceremony and shared his thoughts on the celebration: "I think it's a noble effort by the MRO team to pay tribute to those who have served. It speaks volumes about our values and culture here at Marathon Oil. Thank you to MRO and all the employees who took time from their busy day to acknowledge and support those who sacrificed so much."
